EATING AND DRINKING: PART OF THE ISLAND’S CULTURE
Trendy restaurants, hip beach clubs
Gastronomy lovers can indulge themselves on Bonaire. There are many convivial eateries, bars and beach clubs, but also a number of top restaurants with the most diverse cuisines, from traditional to Asian, French and Italian. Eating and drinking is part of the culture on Bonaire and so, one day you can enjoy an exquisite 5-course dinner in a chic restaurant, and the next you can tuck into a tasty plate of rice with chicken at a local bistro or a food truck at the side of the road.

A perfect place, directly across from the resort, is the Windsock Beach Club which has a restaurant and cosy bar.
With your feet in the sand and a cocktail in your hand, this is the place to relax and watch the sun set into the sea. It is also a wonderful place to have dinner or lunch.

Mishmash of cultures
Bonaire is a lovely mishmash of cultures, and that is also reflected in its culinary tradition. Local chefs, of whom many have won prizes, prepare unique meals by adding a tropical touch to well-known international dishes.
